
Lee Seung Gi (이승기), born on January 13, 1987, is a K-pop singer. He debuted at the age of 17 in 2004 when he was still a high school student. “Because You’re My Girl”, his debut single, was a very popular ballad and created a “liking older women” syndrome in South Korea[citation needed]. In the 2004 MBC Music Awards, he won the Best New Artist award.Lee was a regular guest on SBS’s X-Man and has starred in a few TV sitcoms, in addition to a few TV commercials.
